Molluscs
Molluscs are primitive animals, such as squid, clams, and abalone, that have mantels or shells. Most of the 250,000 species of mollusks live in marine environments, but others, including snails and slugs are terrestrial. While some, such as squid, are carnivores, most feed on plants.
